The legal profession’s leading Finance, Compliance & Practice Management Conference is back for Spring 2024.
Hosted in the prestigious and historic venue of the Law Society in Chancery Lane, London, with an incredible line up of speakers and important topics.
GUEST OF HONOUR - LEE CASTLETON
Former sub-postmaster, Lee Castleton, has said that he and his family are still “picking up pieces” of their lives after he was ordered to repay a shortfall of £25,000 as part of the Post Office scandal.
Many of us didn't realise the sheer scale of the trauma, continuing battle and aggressive litigation until he the ITV's drama "Mr Bates vs the Post Office" was aired. Mr Castleton was made bankrupt by the Post Office after a two-year legal battle, and his story was recently portrayed by the actor Will Mellor, in drama series.
Lee told Good Morning Britain "My family were abused on the street, it was just horrific, 20 years this has happened for me. We’re still picking pieces up 20 years on.”
The battle continues and we are honoured to welcome Lee to our event so he can answer your questions and chat with you all. Lee will speak to us on the stage for a short while about his thoughts on the law, humanity and regulations.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Luan de Burgh, international speaker, lecturer and writer. If you haven't heard Luan speak before, you are in for a treat! Luan will be speaking about "communication for effective compliance". Don't miss it!
